On October 17th Canada became the 2nd country to legalize marijuana nationwide.
While the federal government has made recreational marijuana legal to smoke, it is up to the provinces as to how they setup and enforce the laws. Each province has different rules and minimum age requirements.
Uruguay was the only other country to have legalized recreational marijuana use, and South African courts have ruled that personal use of marijuana is legal, but selling is not.
